Parking at Chandlers Hill Surgery
Car parking is available at the rear of the building. Please refrain from parking next door at the shopping complex, as these parks are reserved for their customers.
Consultations are made by appointment. Appointments are made at fifteen-minute intervals, so you will usually spend 10-15 minutes with your doctor. We request that you book a longer appointment for:
New Patients
We are not currently taking any new patients.
Cancellations
We would appreciate you telling us as soon as possible if you think you may be late or need to cancel your appointment. Sometimes your appointment may need to be rescheduled if you are late.
A cancellation fee will apply for non attendance at appointments without sufficient prior notice (2 hours).
Use of AI
Chandlers Hill Surgery uses an AI scribe tool to assist with documenting consultations, enabling your clinician to focus on your care and increase the quality of the service they can provide. This information is kept on an Australian Server.
We will consult every patient at the start of their consult. If you do not wish for AI Scribe to be used, please let your GP / Nurse know.

Reminder System
Appointments reminder system – an SMS reminder of your appointment can be sent the day prior. Please ask reception if you would like this service.
We also have recall and reminder systems in place for other services such as care plans, diabetes and lung function tests. If you would like to receive this electronically please complete a consent form.
Schedule
Patients are not always seen in the order of their arrival at the surgery, but in order of their booking time. You may wish to ring the surgery before your appointment to check whether your doctor is running on time.
Emergencies are dealt with as they arrive and this may also affect your waiting time.
Home visits
This service is not offered by all doctors and is only available in exceptionally high need circumstances. This service is not offered to new patients.
Home visits are available to patients who live in the local area and who are too sick to come to the surgery. We appreciate requests for home visits being made as early in the day as possible so we can accommodate these. Depending on the circumstances, a gap of $70 may apply for emergency home visits. Lower gaps for palliative care may apply – please discuss this with your doctor.
