Teaching Practice

Chandlers Hill Surgery is an accredited member of the General Practice Education and Training Program. This involves having doctors in training (“GP Registrars”) undertaking placements at the surgery for six to twelve months.

From time to time there may also be a medical student or doctor in training sitting in with your doctor. If you prefer that the medical student or other doctor not be present during your consultation, please let the doctor or reception staff know.

We are a fully accredited practice, in accordance with the standards of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).

Core Standards

We expect mutual respect between patients and all members of the health team at Chandlers Hill Surgery. Aggressive or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated within the practice.

We expect patients to respect the privacy of other patients in the waiting room.

Mobile phones should be switched off in the waiting room and consulting room. Children should be supervised at all times.

We acknowledge your right to have more than one general practice clinic manage your health care needs but would appreciate full disclosure on your past and current medical treatment to allow us to provide you with the best possible care.
